Aaron is a professional travel writer with more than 30 years of experience in writing features for primarily Central Ohio newspapers and magazines. He is accompanied by his wife Beth Ervin Leventhal, who serves as photographer and editor.

 

The two publications for which Aaron serves as a regularly featured travel columnist are The Senior Times and The Catholic Times. These publications reach a total of more than 100,000 readers. Each publication reaches distinctly different demographics with a minimum of duplication in readership. Each publication also includes Aaron’s columns on their websites.

 

Senior Times (monthly). The news magazine is read by "boomers and beyond" with approximately 60,000 readers. It is distributed at more than 300 locations, including Giant Eagle grocery stores, CVS drugstores, Fifth Third Bank branches, public libraries, senior centers and retail outlets.

 

The Catholic Times (weekly). The Catholic Times feature news information and articles of particular interest to readers of the Catholic faith. Estimated readership exceeds 40,000 in 23 Ohio counties.

 

In addition, Aaron’s freelance travel features are published in a number of other Central Ohio newspapers and magazines.
